Complex investments need execution, not more reporting.
Dunamis Strategy Africa is an independent advisory boutique focused on high-value, execution-heavy financial mandates across emerging markets.
Our firm was built around a simple observation:
Investors in these markets receive no shortage of advice and reporting — but when a situation becomes genuinely complex, what they need is someone independent who will take hold of it and drive it to a result.
That is what we do.
Dunamis is built for the demanding end of the investment lifecycle — the mandates that call for independent judgement, hands-on execution, and the standing to act rather than simply recommend.
What sets us apart is where our team has sat. We have not only advised on capital — we have raised it, deployed it, and been accountable for returning it. That principal perspective shapes every mandate: we approach each situation from the position of the investor, not only the adviser.
Resolving a complex position across African and emerging markets depends as much on who you can reach as on what you can structure. Our team has spent decades building relationships across the continent — with investors, development finance institutions, banks, fund managers and regulators — and that network is often the difference between a situation that moves and one that stalls.
We operate from Mauritius — the jurisdiction where so many of the region’s holding structures, funds and security arrangements already sit — and deploy directly into the markets where our clients’ capital is at work.
And we are deliberately a boutique. Clients work with senior practitioners from first meeting to final outcome, not a team assembled once the mandate is won.
An independent view — and the capability to execute on it — free of the vested positions that compromise other advisers. Because we hold no stake in the underlying outcome, every recommendation and every action is driven by what is optimal for the client, not by what serves us.
Working directly alongside clients rather than remaining detached from implementation.
Supporting clients throughout the full investment journey as circumstances evolve over time.
